PH Artichoke 48 Stainless Steel

Designed by Poul Henningsenin 1958 and manufactured by Louis Poulsen, Denmark.
PH Artichoke is a series that Poul Henningsen started designing in the 1920s.
The cone lamp is a real design icon. The lamp provides a completely glare-free light.
The cone has 72 stainless "leaves" built around 12 steel arches.
Carefully angled and distributed in 12 rows with six leaves in each in a way that
both illuminates the luminaire itself and provides a circularly symmetrical light distribution.
The lamp provides a soft and pleasant light.

The lamp was originally designed for the Langelinie Pavillionen restaurant in Copenhagen in 1958
